Job Overview
We are looking for a product-forward Product Designer who can deeply understand our platform users and translate that understanding into a clear, scalable user experience strategy. This person will map our existing platform against key user personas, identify gaps and opportunities, and design the path from our current UX to a more intuitive future-state experience.
The ideal candidate combines strong product thinking with hands-on design execution. They can simplify complexity, connect user needs to business goals, and create a practical pipeline for evolving an existing platform without losing continuity for current users.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of platform user personas, goals, workflows, and pain points
- Analyze the current platform and translate existing experiences through the lens of each persona
- Identify UX gaps, friction points, and opportunities for improvement
- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity experiences for the future-state platform
- Define a clear migration path from the current UX to the new UX, including phased rollouts and transition strategies
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and stakeholders to align design decisions with roadmap priorities
- Help establish scalable design patterns and principles across the platform
Qualifications
- Experience designing complex digital products or SaaS platforms
- Strong product mindset and ability to connect user experience to business outcomes
- Deep experience with user-centered design, workflows, and persona-based design thinking
- Expert-level Figma proficiency, including components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping, and developer handoff
- Proven ability to analyze existing experiences, identify gaps, and propose clear paths forward
- Experience building or contributing to scalable design systems and component libraries
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, for direct collaboration with stakeholders
- Comfortable working overlapping hours with US Pacific Time
- Self-directed and organized in async-first environments
